IT ALL CHANGED IN 2019 WITH CORPORATE BURNOUT AND AN OLD PASSION FOR TRANSFORMATION AND EMPOWERMENT
The background
My engineering and master’s degrees in Geosciences qualified me to work in the oil and gas industry for 12 years, during which I dealt directly with petroleum data and demonstrated successful data management projects experience. I initiated change initiatives related to the digital transformation and contributed to changing the data governance landscape. In the oil and gas sector, data is of great value since the cost of its extraction, exchange and management is so high, that’s why I worked on establishing international standards for data management to increase productivity and efficiency and minimize the cost of data loss. My passion for communication and presentation skills allowed me to break goals and explain business needs to executives and to represent my company at several international oil and gas conferences. I value data and believe in its hidden potential that awaits unlocking, and I also value people and believe in the power of personal transformation. This mix soon fueled my desire to utilize my data capabilities, knowledge and expertise to help people unlock their unique potential through understanding their motives, behaviors and needs to embrace change and make conscious life and career choices.
The Transformation
During meetings with the Leadership, I used to observe people interacting and expressing themselves, and I remember frequently stopping to reflect and think about our motives and deep needs as humans. An inner voice was there relentlessly trying to grab my attention and deliver its message to me. One day I quietly decided to stop and listen, and it was saying: “Is this really what you want to keep doing with your life? Do you really belong here, in corporate meeting rooms? Is working as an engineer the true essence of your mission? Or is it just a stage from which you can learn, gain experience and equip yourself for the journey of Transformation?
From drilling for oil and gas
to drilling for greater purpose
I soon engaged in a series of internal excavations for the precious minerals and gems that I was certain I had buried deep down. I needed to extract them and exploit them to provide real value for others to help them grow and develop themselves. I believe in coaching as a powerful tool to learn effective leadership and enhance the performance of individuals and groups.. I went through a major career change from an engineer in a prestigious company, in a glamorous and attractive industry, to a Life and Business Coach. This shift required deep work on myself that resulted in a total transformation. As I value freedom, it nudged me to break free from the 9 to 5 routine and unleash my creativity and innovation in unrestricted ways. The values of family and balance brought me feelings of satisfaction and inner peace as my time became mine to manage in a way that allowed me to reach balance and fulfillment as a female.. I quickly attracted clients who trusted me, as they were not just looking for answers, but for a real and authentic experience of change to guide them on their journeys to reclaiming their sovereignty to live a life that honors their values. Today, I coach clients from different educational, professional and cultural backgrounds from all over the world. I guide them on their journeys of self-transformation in a safe space and together, we get to reveal the hidden gems of potential and gifts that they only have. I am Here to help you be the best you!
